Life can change in an instant.
For this active and energetic lady, sports are an important part of her lifestyle. Like many padel ball enthusiasts, she enjoys the excitement, fitness, and social connections that come with the game.
However, during one of her matches, an unexpected accident occurred.
A padel racquet struck her upper front teeth with significant force, causing one of the upper central incisor to fracture.
What started as an ordinary day on the court quickly became a dental emergency.
When a Front Tooth Cannot Be Saved

Following the accident, she sought treatment immediately.
After a thorough examination and with the help of Xray, we found that the injury had caused a vertical fracture of the root. Unfortunately, the fracture was too severe for the tooth to be predictably restored.
The difficult decision was made to remove the fractured tooth.

Losing a front tooth can be emotionally challenging. Beyond affecting appearance, it can impact confidence, speech, and everyday interactions.
For many patients, the first question is:
“How am I going to smile again?”
The First Step: A Dental Bridge
After discussing the available treatment options, she initially decided on a dental bridge to replace the missing tooth.
A bridge provided an immediate and aesthetic solution while allowing her to regain her smile quickly.

Reconsidering the Long-Term Solution
Few days after the temporary bridge was issued , she had a second thought about how to replace the missing tooth.
After carefully weighing the advantages and limitations of each option, she decided to proceed with a dental implant.
Dental implants are often considered the gold standard for replacing a missing tooth because they replace both the root and crown, providing excellent stability, function, and aesthetics in long run.

A Journey That Required Patience
Dental implant treatment is rarely an overnight solution.
Successful treatment requires proper healing, careful planning, and close monitoring throughout the process.
Over the next 10 months, we worked closely with her through every stage of treatment.
Although the journey required patience, she remained committed to achieving the best long-term outcome for her smile.
The Moment Worth Waiting For
Ten months after the accident, the final implant crown was delivered.
The transformation was remarkable.
What was once a traumatic sporting accident had become a story of recovery, resilience, and renewed confidence.
Today, she smiles confidently again, knowing her replacement tooth looks natural and functions beautifully.
Most importantly, she can return to the activities she loves with peace of mind.
